DRIVE SHAFT TORQUE MEASUREMENT SYSTEM
First sensors bolt on torque system for drive shafts has been designed to rugged and serviceable . the system is battery powered and has a operating range of -20 C to 150 C.
it works by transmitting digitally encoded strain gauge and temperature sensor data off the drive shaft , the encoded signal is received decoded and then outputted either through CAN to a Data logger or as a 0 to 5 volt analogue output .
The system is very flexible and the user can select from 100 transceiver frequencies , this is done via PC program supplied with the system .
total accuracy of the system is better than 1 % over 100 C temperature range.
The system is designed to fit any drive shaft although are engineer would need to know the diameter of the shaft you intend to use to as all systems are built to order .
